personally i think its unlikely. they haven’t hinted at it or anything like that. but then again they didn’t hint for the halo 4 reveal did they?

Depends. Is the spring showcase tomorrow? Because that’s the only reason they revealed it that day.

Welp, I’m keeping my phone close for next morning.
I don’t think it will happen, but who knows. Let’s not get our hopes up for something that’s not even been hinted at. We can have a little spark of hope and not turn into a blinding flame of hype. I have less than 10% of believing that Halo news will come tomorrow.
With several people from Microsoft already announcing that a lot of Halo-related news is to come at this year’s E3, it would seem they’re going to keep things on the DL during the spring showcase this year. Maybe we might get a tidbit of info or some kind of brief teaser, but if that even happens I highly doubt it’ll be as much as that Halo 4 vidoc showed at the 2012 showcase.

I have to agree with this. I haven’t been able to find anything about a Spring Showcase this year. Still, it’s not impossible for something to be announced before E3. Microsoft’s /Build/ convention is in April, and 343 could just decide to share information here on Waypoint. No need for a major event to mark content release.
But from what I’ve heard, isn’t the spring showcase a private media event that’s followed by a public news roundup? Ergo, that’s why there’s really no publicity for it or info about it right now? Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong though…

I have recently played halo 2 and 3 and it makes me sad that Halo 4 didn’t live up to the hype. So hopefully this next game does the halo community some justice, but still they need to get the pre order numbers up, and we know nothing about this game yet…

As far as I know, this is correct, so perhaps that’s why I can’t find anything on it. Strangely though, it seemed more “known-about” (for lack of a better phrase) in 2012. Could be my memory’s just faulty. Only time will tell. Still, best to not get one’s hopes up.

As far as I’m aware, you’re right.
I agree with Toa, they’re just as likely to post something randomly here on Waypoint than anything else. They also posted in an update on Jan 9th I believe, that they would be sharing things in the “not too distant future”. Now yes, this could just mean E3…but E3 is obvious, they don’t need to make a point of saying that.
I think we’ll get something before E3…but I wouldn’t bother trying to guess. Just keep an ear peeled and an eye glued to Waypoint.

You can forget about getting any info before E3. May get a screenshot or 2 but no real info. I’d expect a flood of info at E3.
