Am I the only one who thinks that the new Sword Warthog is absolutely terrible? Sure, the shield is cool and adds a bit of survivability, but the weapon is useless. It can’t do anything against vehicles, and it shoots so slowly that on-foot Spartans can easily just dodge it. And here I was thinking that the Needler Hog would be the one part of this update that I like…

Yeah, jumped on some players and the RoF is terrible.
I’d understand it not doing much to vehicles.
But it’s almost less effective than the standard warthog gun.

Also, how fast is the rally hog?
It needs a buff imo… for needles they sure are weak. A regular Needler can kill faster than a turret of them? Oni isn’t very good at their experiments.

I wish I could, but in the one game that I used the Sword Warthog, I got disconnected from the server (nothing new there), so the game didn’t register

Sad day… I was excited for that Req too!
Its meant to kill infantry, its also more of a precision weapon. It is useful if you use it correctly.
Also the Hog’s shielding doesn’t apply to the gunner, leaving it with the Achilles’ Heel of every Warthog of Halo 5.

Nah, I was using a Warzone RP boost, I wouldn’t rage quit! I’ve been disconnecting from half of my games lately, which makes me sad

Always hard reset before H5 and be sure to use a wired connection for your xbox

I always use a wired connection with my Xbox, though I should try doing a hard reset before playing. This has never been an issue before the past few days, so I’m not sure what’s going on. Thanks for the tip!

That’s actually a good observation. I was wondering why I would always die while my driver would remain unscathed when I was using the Sword Hog. I guess that explains it! It’s either a huge oversight or a terrible “balancing” decision.

Sorry about that was Hazgraa we only let him help because he’s different… so to say and while he’s really smart he just didn’t know how to do people work with his hands… in hindsight maybe pushing needles through a human turret wasn’t a good idea… but vauthine had a good idea adding shields… at least it protects your human heads…

Now is that really the driver getting the shield buff though?
It’s kinda like shooting at a guy in a Ghost Ultra. It’s much tougher than a Ghost so you’d be spending a while shooting it down, but the guy inside still takes a couple of shots to kill.
