seriously, i am already BEYOND annoyed and tired of constantly ending up with SERIOUSLY negative K/D simply because:
a) Grenade + 6 shots from a DMR is APPARENTLY not enough to grab a kill
b) there is no cover BIG enough to cover up for that 150ms latency of an EU player connected to US server (…so why even bother taking cover)
…honestly, some games are fine, but then there are those that really do test patience since i never get a kill (my worst so far were teleporting - literally - players where i went 0-15 simply because NONE of my shots hit the target no matter what i did)
…why are EU players being treated like a lesser customers? did we not pay EXACTLY the same amount for the game like players in US?
compared to other halos I’ve had the best connections with halo 5 and I’m from eu. If I happen to warp around and my shots don’t get registered I certainly don’t stick it out, I just leave and the next match is usually fine connection-wise.
Servers are fine if you ask me. I’m in Australia/New Zealand region and as long as I play at peak times in populated playlists then I have next to no issues at all.

There is already a thread for this, its over 1400 posts, so ignore the people who say your crying ect. Its a legit issue where alot of people are connecting to usa games 90% of the time even during off peak times in the US. Im from the Uk and the fact that if i play late at nite i will face full Us times with god knows what ping /ms and its a joke of a game. You legit start thinking that the br or pistol are like a 8 shot kill lol. or a grenade 2 meters away with full shields can kill you. So you start playing mega safe and realize you cant really help your team in any way. Having yous shields go down before you even go around that corner on your screen is not fun

…exactly, i’m trying my best to stick around and, avoid dying and get at least a few assist to help my team a bit, but i guess i’ll just have to quit those games - going 0-15 when you have a jump on your opponents is just not right/fun/fair
on the bright side, whenever i don’t face this crappy ‘ping’ the game’s just soooo much fun, balanced and paced just fast enough (:

i’m doing my best to avoid quitting matches, i don’t want to put my own K/D over the rest of the team being one man short
…as a result of that i have games where i go 0-15 and there’s absolutely NOTHING i can do about it
From the UK and the only time I’ve connected to US servers is really early in the morning. I played from 6AM to 2PM a few days ago and I literally noticed when EU players started to get on, not that there really was any lag playing on US servers I could just tell from peoples voices, maybe I’ve just been lucky?
Spain here. The connection is fine except for some lag, but that comes from my unusually bad internet connection. When I teleport around the map, i just stop and wait until it’s gone, and then it all goes well.

Dude I haven’t had a single problem at all with latency!! In fact it’s the best experience I’ve had in halo so far. Maybe your Internet isn’t that great or you need to forward some ports. Oooor… you need just a little bit of training ^^ just saying

fiber net, 50down, 5up, 5ms ping (…to my local provider) - i really don’t think connection is the culprit here
…and i openly admit i am no pro, but that doesn’t explain how i can go “even” with roughly 15odd kills in most of games, while in SOME i cannot do absolutely anything, my grenades don’t do damage, neither my weapons - like i said, i had a game today where a grenade hit and 6 shots from DMR did NOTHING to my opponent

lol it’s not about the k/d it’s about having no fun in laggy matches. If you have a lot of leisure game time then go for it, but my game time is limited and I definitely don’t spend it in crappy matches.
