I really love how they make things diverse in halo. I also got a kick of seeing the memorial to the creator of the first slip space drive from earth in orbital. I can’t remember his name, but it was a Japanese guy.
Technically I’m pretty sure the Lord of Admirals predated that sort of characterization. I mean before we were one single species but since the defeat of our past civilization the Forerunner deevolved us into separate sub-species. Diversity makes unification difficult and ensures we won’t form a new Empire anytime soon. Over the course of a hundred thousand years all subspecies have died off and the rest interbred and evolved into us, the -Yoink!- Sapiens Sapiens.
Of course I could be wrong and maybe the pre-historic human race did have White, Black, Yellow and Red skinned people or even more colors.
And the Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine was invented by Wallace Fujikawa and Tobias Fleming Shaw.
I wonder what a -Yoink!- Novus would be like in the HU…

I think thats exactly it as far as the ancient human race was. They devolved us after that. None of this is any real big deal, but I just really like it when sci fi stories keep it real as far as diverse representation.
Black, white, yellow, red brown what? Such primitive concepts! Why do you people hold up to such disgusting things!
Ancient man was made of several human races.
hahah man. I just read the section where the lord of admirals is described in full uniform/armor. Now they’re implying dude is “endowed”. I’m like “wth?! did i just read this?!”
