Just saying 343 put the falcon or hornet in the update it would be an amazing update just saying
I really want them to give us back the needle rifle and the revenant.
Memories of Reach is great but I do kinda wish it was more Reachy.
The troop hog would be great though.

First off, the update is called Hog Wild. A Wild Hog would be a ‘Javelina.’
Two, Sgt “Badass” died on The Ark in Halo 3. So the only person he could replace is maybe the Holy Spirit in Heaven.

I wouldn’t even bother guessing or hoping for anything. That teaser was Weak Sauce, and there’s not telling if the update will be much of anything. I’m just going to wait and see what comes forth, I won’t be getting carried away with expectations. Even though mine were low for MOR, but I heard MOR isn’t done yet and will get more plasma rifles later I guess.
I hope breaking up the updates isn’t the new slower way of giving us content.

Didn’t it say how he escaped in First Strike? I thought it did, but its been years since i’ve read it. Halo 3, we all saw Spark Laser Face him. And watch as he lie motionless as the Control Room collapsed.
But things in Halo have been retcon’d before, guess they could do it again. Hell maybe John Forge returns in Halo Wars 2 as well.
After the last update, I wouldn’t get your hopes up for anything. How about 12 new weapon skins, new bad looking armor (like Tracer, or perhaps an Achilles reskin), and some emblems? And a Hog reskin, if 343 feels generous.
A race would actually be a fun rotation type. Different modes. One with chaingun, one with rockets, and one with gauss. Go through a race fighting other people to the finish line. There can be a scout hog mode for no gunning though.
It was only a sneak peak… you can’t make any judgements from it. All I really want H5 to have is an action sack playlist. Odds are it won’t be added or come with the next update though.

If Reach = Phaeton then I would assume Hog = Plasma Caster.
I expect a brand new plasma caster in this update. Heck, maybe even a new unique armor that I’d actually like to wear… Oh wait… Nvm…
It’ll have a falcon that slides across the ground as if it were a warthog.
