This shoddy excuse for a kill cam is so inaccurate the game showed me a kill I did years ago on Halo Reach!
Seriously though; if your little novelty systems don’t work as they are expected to, don’t have them in at all. Fix them up or leave them out. It’s annoying for the players (especially the final victim) and embarrassing for the developer.
Since the TU I’ve had about two accurate representations of what actually happened compared to about six which just looked STUPID.
The killcam in this game very rarely gets it right, even after today. So why is that, 343i? Is it one Call of Duty ripoff beyond your ability? The evidence points to YES.
That’s a serious question. Are you blind?! Because the kill cams make everybody look blind when they’re shooting:
It doesn’t accurately portray where bullets are heading, where the reticle is aiming, whether the reticle is red or blue, where the enemy is standing, or when the kill finally takes place.
And please, don’t give me the BS about how the lag between my screen and my opponent’s screen causes the differences. If this is true, they should remove it altogether. If it’s not, they should fix it and stop shoving it down our throats when it doesn’t work.
Kill cams were argued against before the game came out, and they still will be argued against. They aren’t necessary in any sense of the word, and they simply don’t work.

I rarely view killcams, but when I have, they have never been faulty for me. So no, I am not blind. I just haven’t had any problems as of yet. And honestly, lag between your screen and an opponent’s screen can result in strange occurrences. In Halo 3, I was trying to snipe an enemy, and I consistently hit him in the head. However, from his screen, I was behind some piece of nearby geometry, hence why I could not kill him.
As for Final killcams, I have not been on Halo today, so I was just making a genuine inquiry.

I can’t wait to live-capture some footage and show it to you. It’s absolutely ridiculous, and if so many people are complaining, it must not be just me.
I haven’t been on today either, but most of the kill cams I have seen in the past were quite…interesting. I can’t imagine its lag–COD is pretty laggy but the kill cam always seemed to work in those games.

Completely broken implies it doesn’t work at all. It works, just not very well. Therefore final sitrec’s status is: needs work.
Latency will never allow the kill cams to be accurate. And who really cars if they are. They are pointless. Just press X and watch yourself get teabagged like a man.
