I suggest watching all the terminals after read Primordium, especially the 2nd one, then you will see. They seem to explain alot more then we think, and his love for Halo.

Or maybe they just made copies of the Chakas monitor, one of which is 343 GS? He actually answers to 343GS after he takes over the ship doesn’t he? (not sure don’t have book on hand to check)
Also, that is why H1-3 343 GS doesn’t know about the lifeshaper’s true whereabouts - b/c he was copied from Chakas before Chakas found it out.

I think the 343 GS found in Primordium might be the base for 343 GS and other monitors at other installations (ties in with the Primordium title). Possibly could explain with 343 GS in Primordium at the end takes over the ship and knows the wherabouts of the Librarian/Lifeshaper. One thing is for sure, we are definitely going to see the Didact and Forerunners in Halo 4.

Would the motives behind his (Halo CE 343GS) behaviors be the search for the librarian? I wonder, if we see her in the Reclaimer trilogy, if she would be just as beautiful as they say she is, even after 110k years. lol

It’s entirely likely that the Librarian has spent a lot of that time inside a Cryptum of her own.
I’d be willing to side a bet that John-117’s geas is to locate her at ome point during the Reclaimer trilogy.
