The majority of people here are satisfied with this…this abomination of a Halo? The majority is happy with a game that 343 blatantly and shamelessly LIED about concerning the campaign? Do I really have to go through the list of **** that 343 harped about again?

Exploring Chief’s humanity WITHOUT Cortana, not with her as the villain. (Seriously, that Created bull**** is proper bogus and has no place whatsoever in the narrative)

Media before Halo 5’s release, such as the Arbiter’s testimony towards Agent Locke. (“The seeds of our future are sown in his past”, something which is never expanded upon among other things.)
And let’s not forget the things Halo 5 (and Escalations by extension) swept under the rug as well

The ambiguity that the marketing team had done so well to build up before the game’s release. Just from the second level you knew what was happening. Need I say more?

A solid, proper storyline which would have turned the Halo Universe on it’s head, I dare say.
The majority is happy with a game which has a multiplayer that me, the average gamer, can have NO FUN in? Seriously, the last game I played in, I got destroyed. And don’t tell me to “git gud”. Since when did having fun involve breaking your fingers trying to beat a guy who is better than you? I mean, sure it’s satisfying, but is it worth it?
And don’t get me started on the Forge. Overly complicated much? And no dropships, no Forgeable AI, no skins and no changeable weather to be seen. In fact, while I’m talking about vehicles, where’s the Hornet and Falcon that made their grand appearances in Halo 3 and Reach respectively? Does 343 think that the UNSC, Earth’s unified military force in the year 2552 not have an active Army Air Force, or even an Air Force for that matter?
If those who are happy with the game as it is right now are still content, so be it. Personally, I will never return to Halo 5, but I am powerless to stop the rest of you guys and gals. Frankly, I’m just gonna buy the rest of the Halo games to see what happens. I’m not looking forward to Halo 6 for fear it will be just as bad as the current title. But please, don’t let me stop you. Go ahead and enjoy the game. I’m just unashamedly voicing my discontent at 343 for producing this waste of a Halo game following three years of development, which they would have done well to make the most of.

So, if you’re going to play anyways, and know the community is going to play anyways…then why even make this post? To simply say something negative and stir the pot? O.o

I’ve already taken a look at that thread brother, but the topic isn’t of my concern. What I’m worried about is the general consensus of Halo 5 players on this forum that have grown to like the game. I’m testing the waters to see how they feel.

Well, it’s not my place to stop those who want to play from playing. I’ve simply given up hope of Halo having a good storyline, or even an MP that caters to all players ever again. You may think of me as talking like some depressed guy who has infinite problems with life itself, but I’m as big a Halo fan as the next guy. That being said, I have a fierce opposition to how the final product of Halo 5 turned out.

The general consensus of “h5 players” are more than likely going to be positive, you don’t play games if you dislike them. The general consensus of the entire halo fanbase as a whole tho would believe it’s still not what people want.

Precisely. I absolutely detest Halo 5, henceforth I have not gone near it again since I beat the campaign on Legendary. All I’m doing here is seeing how people feel about the game at the current time.

I don’t. I think of you as the guy complaining just to complain… -.-
Btw, we didn’t have UNSC air vehicles in Halo CE or Halo 2 either. Did Bungie think the united military might of the Earth didn’t have an Air Force back then too? Obviously, no, and 343i doesn’t think that in regards to Halo 5. Just because it isn’t available to you in MP doesn’t mean something doesn’t exist in the overall universe.
Look, guy, Halo and 343 can’t possibly satisfy every player’s every desire. That’s impossible. But they can attempt to make a Halo that appeals to a broad audience of gamers, and Halo 5 arguable did that. Is it perfect? No. Is everyone satisfied with it? No. Is it fun? Strictly your opinion. Is it resonating reasonably well with the mainstream of gamers? Yes. And is 343i doing their best to keep it updated, playable, and content-rich? Given the last 6 months, I’d say ‘Yes’.
Plus, just because you can’t get the hang of forge does not make forge inherently bad. If you spend time with it, you’ll definitely find it is actually a better control scheme.
Sorry you feel the way you feel about H5 and its content, but if you’re going to play it anyway, and you’re going to buy the next iterations of Halo, I really don’t see the point of this post beyond just complaining to complain. shrug
The Forge part of your post is the only one I particularly take issue with.
There is changable weather. You can change the sky box, make it rainy, snowy, windy, cloudy, etc. They never mentioned dropships or AI being in this Forge, so I have no idea why you’re complaining. As for the “complexity” of it…it’s stupid simple. For the amount of things you can do in this version of Forge, the layout amd controls cannot possibly be any more intuitive. Take a moment to learn the controls and “git gud”. You’ll be experimenting and playing in no time.
