Well besides it being easy (speedrun through Nightfall), i noticed something really cool about it’s cR pay out.
30,343 cR.
Notice the last three numbers. 343.
Obvious reference to 343 and this also shows that they can put in new challenges now! Proof? We never had a payout this high (not even for LASO) and or challenge like this.

I noticed also that its an insanely high payout for an insanely easy challange.
Yeah it was cool of them to do that. I think the payment was so high to say sorry about the weekly mixup a few weeks back (when we had the same one twice in a row).
BTW, they can’t give us any NEW challenges but they can alter the credit payout and the specifics (mission, length of time etc).
The fact that the credits were 30,343 makes me feel like someone’s actually coming up with the challenges and credit payouts, its not a computer. Which is awesome.
Also, I discussed this in another thread, but I think because super jackpots and such are rumored to be gone, I think the Weekly Challenge will help fill that credit gap. That’s way its a huuuugggge amount this week.
Just for fun, I completed Nightfall in about 4:30 today. Awesome speedrun!

I thought laso challanges were 120,000 credits or it was 12,000…I dont remember its been awhile
I knew this kind of stuff would happen AFTER I reached Inheritor, haha.

It was stated in one of the older BWUs by Bungie that they could adjust credit payouts for Challenges, as well as ad new Challenges as well. Seeing as all support was passed to 343i, I see know reason why they can’t add new Challenges too instead of just being able to tweak payouts. Also, 30343cR just might be the new 7777cR since that was more of a Bungie thing anyways.

12,000. This week is the single largest Weekly Challenge payout to date.
I won’t deny, I’m a little disappointed, not ungrateful, but disappointed. But that’s just me.
I think the large amount of cR is good. They listened to the us, the community. We wanted bigger jackpots. They gave it to us. We wanted a different challenge, we got it. It is a like “Here you guys go. Enjoy your credits!” I’m sure next week’s will probably be harder to accomplish and take less than 9:00.00.

Since 343 is starting to make thier own challenges I wonder if we’ll see some sort of jackpots on the weekends
I found it slightly odd is when I woke up, I grabbed my phone to check the Weekly & Dailys and it happened to be 13:43 at the time.

I’ll get on Reach (O_o) to complete this, even though I can’t stand the game, because the TU’s coming out, the Jackpot is large and kind enough to make it worthwhile to collect, and I’m really starting to appreciate 343.
