Also, anyone notice how he said Fotus was exclusive but made no mention of Recruit! Aaah! This is not good!

I was generalising. I was using armour as an inclusive term meaning including skins. Of course I know this only an idiot wouldn’t, so there is no need to be patronising on a technicality.
What I am referring too is in the bulletein it says some ‘retailer exclusive’ items and ‘Fotus’ will not be dlc. There is no mention of recruit there.

What’s your point? Many of us already had this discussion before nowhere in the LE edition copy of Halo 4 Say Exclusive, Except for the “Exclusive” Emblem you get from it. The only addvantage of a LE edition copy is that you are getting all this extra stuff for a limited time at a discounted price. Not so that you can get Exclusive content.
in another, older Bulletin, bs angel said that you ONLY get the Skin. what she said in this Bulletin contradicts what she said. I want my Locus helmet! I have tweeted her about that, and hopefully she responds.
OP there is plenty of other armor why do you need fotus lol? also all preorders besides the helmets are just skins.

LOCUS helmet is unlocked in game. The pre-order bonus is only a skin for that helmet 
So you can still unlock it, but so can everyone.

Newest Bulletin makes it sound otherwise, but I hope you’re right.

you’re right she said that all of the armor in the final game is in the PAX build but locus and deadeye pre-orders both say helmet skin while neither in the PAX build are skin variant they are the default skins however the default for deadeye looks just like the bonus while the default for locus is a completely different skin design. Also the hazop skin in the build says alloy but it looks identical to the forest skin pre-order bonus. And finally the spartan and Mjollnir Emblems names are switched from the ones shown in the bulletin that talked about pre-order bonuses.
