so since halo 4 took some pointers from turok

…who would like to see a third “neutral” AI only party in competitive MP (as an option of course)?

What did 343 take from Turok?

> What did 343 take from Turok?

this. I don’t know either.

What they took from Turok were the dinosaurs. They’re the new enemy. Didn’t you know?

Well they are ancient.

double post… sorry.

As far as i know, the only thing halo 4 took from turok is josh holmes.

Don’t worry OP i got your joke! funny guy… :stuck_out_tongue:
Introducing another playable character could make the game less balanced but i suppose it depends on how it’s implemented!

my most sincere apologies

I was taking my new puppy to the vet.

I meant Spartan OPS. Turok was the first game on 360 that took the route of single coop missions (not like a horde mode) as opposed to the full game coop (as far as I know). It was a great idea but poorly implemented. But in those missions there were three parties, Your team, the enemy forces AND the dinosaurs which were hostile but neutral. That role could be fulfilled by the flood.

LOL, You’re the first person that didn’t think that feature was taken from COD. props to you man, props to you for being really smart.

I do not play COD or multi player games at all but I MIGHT try spartan ops

I’m not saying you do, but most people they see the name of this feature and think Spec Ops from COD and flip out in blind rage.

well what I meant was that I would not know what is featured in a COD game…I never played one

but Yeah I’d like to see a third party…

I’d love for neutral enemies (if I’m not mistaken, wasn’t the Guta one?).

I hate how prioritization has always been so poor and lousy in Halo games, everyone always focusing on the player, even when they’re getting pwned by the obviously more dangerous enemy. It’s hard to get a Zealot in CE to stop pursuing you when you’re in a vehicle. You have to get out to get him to engage those 5+ rocket launcher Flood.

I liked how the Flood in H3 chose to work with Chief and Arby, although the execution of the battle was bad.

I meant for Spartan Ops but that works for campaign too

I think on certain maps in social mode there could be A.I. that attack you no matter what team you’re on when you go to a certain area. It would make for interesting custom games.

Think turok evolutions

What’s turok?

Wikipedia says it’s a comic book.

the 360/ps3 reboot

http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/747/747926.html

also it would be nice if this third party AI was not just your run of the mill turret-bot AI but, like the dinosaurs in turok, something else entirely

like alien fauna and whatnot…the flood could work too but only if we were talking about the halo 3 kind of flood
