Halo reach was an absolute masterpiece yet there are some 101% perfectionist IGN try hards that disagree. It had the best custom games, multiplayer firefight customization and campaign yet people still find the smallest mistake like “armor lock” honestly who gives a -Yoink-. It was bungies last halo game and if anything they hit the nail on the head.
PS: if you hate armor abilities so much go back to halo 3 then you 2007, 40yr -Yoink!-.
In all seriousness im just mad at how people hate on a good game when there is halo 4 and 5 with like 30% content. It really grinds my gears so i had to make this post.
I love how you come here defending Reach while bashing the haters. Telling someone to stop hating something while you yourself hate on them is…Not the way to go about things
And I disagree. I hated the graphics, the story made no sense with the EU and wasn’t nearly as interesting as previous Halos, the gameplay was slow and annoying with fall damage and the health system as major steps backwards and too long kill times, the maps were just taken from the campaign and they were okay at best and terrible most of the time (the only truly good one I can think of is Countdown), Firefight became an arcade explosionfest instead of a challenging survival mode and Forge (as good as it was) got old fast because of the boring green and gray.
Halo reach was the worst Halo. The multiplayer actually killed the competitive Halo scene, which was at its biggest and growing before it came out. Armour lock, horrible bloom, active camo as an ability (LOL), no more map flow because of armour abilities and no over shield or camo to pick up, the list goes on.
Oh, this is halo 5 boards. Time for this thread to be moved.

Oh, **** the EU. Who cares what some Microsoft contracted fan-fiction writer wrote?
Reach is probably the best Halo game as far as a complete package for the consumer. Halo 3 probably has the edge in terms of MP thanks to better maps and ever so slightly faster kill times, but there’s no doubt that Reach had the most balanced sandbox of the Bungie Halo games. The maps in Reach were the game’s weakest point, though that weakness was addressed with DLC.
Firefire and Forge were great. And the campaign was unquestionably the best outside of Halo:CE. A coherent story? Legitimately interesting encounter design? Madness.
