If there is no Covenant in H4, that means they won’t bring back the Chopper. Best vehicle of all time :’(

Anyway if 343 is nice. They would put every vehicle from Halo CE-Reach in Halo 4. For Forge, and custom games, and what not.
It’s not confirmed that they will not be in Halo 4.
The chopper is my favorite Halo vehicle so far.

The Sangheili have not been a member race of the Covenant Empire since November 2552, the Jiralhanae have taken their place. As such, any forces of the imperial remnants will be using vehicles such as the Type-25 RAV Chopper if not already replaced fully by the Type-32 RAV Ghost.
I don’t know about that, but there maybe rebels that still believe the Prophets are right about halo, all washed up in their shenanigans in all.

Of course there would likely still be some lingering examples still serving the remaining San 'Shyuum leadership and even the Jiralhanae. But for the honor of their people and brothers, it wouldn’t be a very large contingent still serving.

I meant to say that The Elites (as well as some Grunts and Hunters) became the Covenant seperatists. And they allied with Humanity, so they may appear in Halo 4 as allies. Only the Brutes use the Choppers whereas the Grunts and Elites use Ghosts. It seems unlikely that Loyalist remnants will make an appearance, but I’ve been wrong before.
The multiplayer has never been (nor should it ever be) canonical in nature, and so there is no reason why the chopper or any other Covenant technology should not make an appearance outside of the campaign.
