So, 343 claimed that they worked so close with a pro team to make these spawns?
So you’re telling me there’s actually a pro team that thinks this spawn system is good? Or was even remotely good?

Yes, I am fully aware that 343 said they’re looking into it (Mind you, they acknowledged it once within a list of other issues…) but you cannot tell me that they didn’t play a single game of swat, or ffa and realize… hey these spawns are complete garbage. Or play a single game of slayer and see that you were spawning stupid close to enemies numerous times…
Yes, they’re saying they’re working on it… but why are we now ok with a game even releasing with this kind of broken crap? Do people not see this and think it either screams the game wasn’t play tested to any substantial extent? Or that they don’t give a crap and figured who will care?

But hey, commence the 343 White Knighting… I’m looking forward to seeing how people rationalize something this broken after they claimed they worked oh so hard on making a system that was great. Or how they didn’t know it was this broken prior to launch… (Funny this same kinda complaint sounds so familiar with 343… releasing something that they didn’t know was broken before launch… Hmm that could have never have happened before…)
Yeah the downs aren’t to bad for every playlist except SWAT. I am killed WAY too often from spawning 2 inches where I just died. Althought it is fun getting to spawn kill others haha, but needs to be fixed for sure.

Not even swat, while that’s the most noticable because you die instantly. Slayer, nearly every objective gamemode in Arena… FFA is just as bad as swat.
All this from a system that they gloated about working with pro’s to make so great… Just doesn’t make sense and just pisses me off beyond belief.

I am generally having a lot of fun in Arena. That said, a good portion of my deaths are to this god awful spawn system. It’s hella annoying to have someone spawn in right behind you when you are in a battle. Worse than that is when you spawn in, start moving and poof enemy players spawns 10 feet behind you and gets a super easy kill. I’ve had it where people spawned directly behind me and got insta-assassinations on me. The spawn system is something that needs to get fixed asap.

I dissagree with the tone. Im not wanting you to hold your tounge about the problems with the system, i just dont understand why problems on this forum cant be dealt with calmly. It seems alot of people on this forum want to creat hate for 343 and i dont think its right.
Again i don’t dissagree with you About the problem. I havnt noticed it a ton but i have been spawned very close to my enemys on occasion. To me it doesnt seem game breaking as of yet but it does need to be dealt with. Im very interested to see what kind of things we learn about the spawn system from the release of forge.
