To view your player model on Halo Waypoint? That’s what a friend told me. Obviously pointing at my avatar, my player model shows a plain, red Recruit Spartan. I’m SR54 and I sport my legacy armor (White Recon w/ gold visor).

Just my luck, I’ve had the Recruit model on Waypoint since before I played Halo 4. And when I started Halo 4, I was a green Recruit. I don’t know why, out of everyone I know, I have the same red Recruit armor on my Waypoint service record. I’ve heard some people have had delays in their Waypoint Spartan updates, but I’ve been the same Spartan (on Waypoint) for over two weeks.

This has happened to me in Halo: Reach (God, I’m so lucky!) and the curse seems to follow me to this day. Anyone else with similar/same issues? Do you need to find some red button on Waypoint that updates your record? Do you really need a hard drive to update your model to Waypoint? Am I alone?

Huh… maybe if I changed the title to “I hate Halo 4”. Seems to be drawing all the attention these days.

That might be the case, my cousin’s playing on a 4GB 360 Slim, his player avatar also shows a red recruit Spartan-IV.

Try logging in in another Xbox that has an HDD.
