I finished my qualifying ten games for team slayer today, of which I only lost 2. I played mostly diamonds and onyxes, so I thought I would place around diamond 1.
But when I got ranked, I was met with this. The text says diamond 1, but the symbol is for platinum 1.
I’ve never seen this happen when I got ranked before. Is it a known bug or what?
Someone at 343 confused the strings for platinum and diamond. The image is correct, but the text (string) isn’t.

*Sigh… Got to love when games break on you after the updates. It’s definitely a glitch, but it looks like you were placed diamond 1. Which is a shame, because based on your K/D and win ratio you should have been placed higher.
It’s been that way since MOR update. There are numerous thread about it. You think 343 would take their time to fix it? Nope…

The symbol is actually correct it’s the text that is displaying incorrectly.
yeah same here happened to me, after playing with all diamond onyx too.
That really sucks then. I consistently beat onyxes and upper diamond players, yet I rank in platinum 1? I ranked higher in breakout and I lose half my matches in that playlist.

Wut? I think someone just got their case statements backwards.
Diamond and platinum are swapped, i ranked platinum 5, it said diamond, after actually getting to diamond 1, it said platinum 1
