Does anyone want to see an eventual port over of Forge World from Reach?
I’d just love to see a
“Previous Forge Map” DLC pack. Forge World, Foundry, Sandbox.
Oh the fun to be had.
I won’t vote in the poll, because my “yes” has qualifications to it. Yes, if and only if community variants are regularly and consistently introduced into matchmaking. How Forge World was implemented in to Reach was fantastic and I would love to see that again. Otherwise, it has no value to me. I don’t create or play customs, so introducing these toolkits in of itself doesn’t interest me.
Honestly, no thanks. I would much rather they make whole new maps meant for forging.
I’d prefer new maps. I can’t think of any Forge World maps that were really that good.
Sandbox (the full Sandbox with the ridiculous Guardian towers removed) would be fantastic with the current version of Forge, as would Foundry with access to the outside of the warehouse (finished by 343i, of course). They’d be even better with new objects on top of their original objects.
No, Forge world was pretty bad, and forge island is a free gift. Why would you ask for more when you’re already getting something they didnt have to go out of their way to make, and give to everyone for free in the first place? I feel Forge Island will satisfy everyones needs.
I never want any particular forge space remade. Why restrict us to the same spaces over and over? If Forge doesn’t turn into a true map editor come Halo 5(which I doubt it will) I’d like to see a Snow Forge World style map with places to remake Containment, Relic, and Sidewinder. Something like this. I’m tired of getting the same old green grass, blue skies, and boring objects.
Halo 4 can’t have a Forge World like Halo: Reach had, it has already been stated the Xbox 360 could not handle it in Halo 4. We will most likely see maps even better than Forge World in Halo 5 if the rumors are true of the next Xbox. However as of now in Halo 4 Forge Island will have to do guys.
