sorry, no mammoth. a mammoth would be the size of one of Halo 4’s smaller maps. maybe downsize to an elephant and have that be on one of the larger maps to come.

They seem a lot bigger than they look in monitor mode, similar to forge world.

While the Forge maps aren’t small, none have the driving space to support a mammoth. I could see one fitting on Impact, but it wouldn’t be able to move anywhere.

Don’t forget that there’s plenty of space to build your own structures, you could make a large surface or even add on to a surface to make it a lot larger.
I’m still holding out hope that the final MM map is an absolutely massive desert/snow environment capable of supporting the Mammoth. Between Ravine, Erosion, and Impact, I think there’s more than enough potential for smaller 4v4 maps. The way I see it, you can always make a big map smaller, but you can’t make a small map bigger.
> I can see a Sandtrap remake being released as DLC in the future; why remake the elephant and not its spiritual home?
Sandtrap + halo 4 sandbox = DMR Fest. It doesn’t seem to fit the new sandbox, i would prefer a new sand enviroment that fits the mammoth. Instead of a remake.

It is, but it’snot big enough for the mammoth to drive around. From the few seconds we’ve seen of it in campaign, the thing is FAST and would require a lot of room to operate. I couldn’t see it working in multiplayer.
