heres the thing about the higher ups. they give 0 care.
they heavily pushed to maximize income in any and every way possible putting full focus on maximizing income with aboslute passion and dedication doing their very best to go above and beyond and push the limits of maximizing their income. halo infinite was a quick cash grab. their main focus was maximizing income with a ruthless passion without the care of the community or the quality outcome of the game
from the getco of infinites release it felt like they hired ruthless scalpers to oversee halo with a pure passion dedication and love for money.

Ok so with the store they had hardly any quality control relative to the content released to the store a lot of things look similar with the smallest of differences to the point of being barely noticeable. multiple helmets that are nearly the same like the eva helmet for example there were numerous of variants. They released poorly designed poorly made cosmetics thrown in the mix. to just maximize content to sell without solid quality control. Quantity over quality.
they pushed a million promotions. and spread out multiple coating sets and what not that go together across many products to make sure you buy many things if you want a full coating set costing upwards of 300-400 for a full color scheme set. one example is you needed to buy halo infinite from many different retailers for the complete pre order coating set. in addition needing to buy a megablox set and 1 store pack.
In addition they split up varying known armor sets across many sets to make it so if you want to recreate original past halo game spartan armors youd have to buy multiple packs
they HEAVILY pushed selling merch like crazy in the first months of release, like for example one time they even went as far as to adverise a giveaway, COME JOIN US WE ARE DOING GIVE AWAYS :D. then like 3-5 minutes were about the giveaway. and then a majority of the stream felt like CALL 1800 CALL NOW 30 minute promotional show trying to sell their products. then like a few minutes barely any about the game itself and updates.
they tried to keep prices high as long as they could drag it out to maximize income without returning credit for lash back when they lowered prices. then they tried to creep the prices back up earlier this season selling a singular helmet for 900 credits armor sets for up words of 1.8k and so on until the community went at them again about it.
this game is all about profit and making a quick buck in my point of view cashing out on the franchise. without a care to what happens to the franchise after

The higher ups only really show up when they get to promote something, as soon as things turn negative they are gone like roaches after turning on the lights.
They are just gonna leave Joe there to twist in the wind and bear the brunt of the backlash from fans.
