Im sure im not the only one under the impression that tactical ops was meant for February release, and now what are we left with? Nothing?
Getting really sick of 343s approach to announcing new content, which seems to follow the pattern of say nothing until the community brings it to your face or until the day it releases.
Would it have killed them to say a week ago when every halo news outlet was reporting it taking place in February that it wasnt actually coming and they have something else planned? They do have community managers that are watching the community right???
I still believe this should be Februarys event, my birthday is today and i was looking forward to this nice gift tomorrow, not like we arnt still going to have a content drought, just that now march has something so you can complain less in april

I just saw that notice too. Iām not trying to be some contrarian hater, but my god this game is a laughable ālive serviceā. We canāt even maintain a regular stream of small cosmetic events (unless they invent a new one mid-February). Why was Tactical Ops pushed back? Are we even going to get a new map prior to May? Where is the roadmap? What is going on at 343?

No maps are planned at all right now, all that leaked was proof of concepts, i doubt we will be receiving any new maps until mid season 2 or maybe even s3, and most likely one at a time.
I dont see them having anything for February either, maybe some corny shop rotation with valentines themed stuff but thats it, really seemed like this was planned for feb but pushed back because the devs thought it would keep the game less dry then it already is.
Halo fell outta top 5 on xbox as well, seems like the content drought is hitting everyone the same wag
I think the event that comes out supposedly tomorrow (who the bell knows anymore 
) Tactical Ops has a couple variations to it. I think a leak had versions with commando, sidekick, stalker rifle, mangler. At least thatās somethingā¦ā¦maybe? lol
It has variations, but the event itself has been completely moved. The new leaked poster for the event shows March 8 - 22.

John uny on twitter confirmed there is no event happening tomorrow and they would ālet us knowā further to the release of it in march
And those variations would just be added to the existing pool for swat already, tactical ops is a one time event
Yes I know what an event is, thanks. At least it would be something a little different like attrition was. Unfortunately thatās the best we can hope for for a while.
Unyshek has stated that there is no event happening tomorrow (Tactical Ops was supposed to start tomorrow) and theyād let us know when an event is upcoming.
