That video that shows the BR has no bloom, was it ever confirmed that there will be NO bloom at all in Halo 4? The bloom was part of what ruined Reach imo.

I believe they said, that the DMR would have bloom, but nothing else, I really do not know.
As far as we know there is no bloom on precision weapons, the DMR has visual bloom but it works the same way as the Reach Sniper, doesn’t actually affect accuracy.
I think they confirmed bloom on the DMR, just less than Reach’s.
There is bloom on the DMR, but with a fixed rate of fire we don’t know if it’s purely visual ( ala sniper rifle) or not.
How bloom was made in Halo Reach was the issue not the bloom itself. It’s in Halo 4, but it’s confirmed that Halo 4 will not have Halo Reach’s bloom. So we might be looking at a real recoil bloom.
Good. Even if there is bloom for the DMR that does not affect me in the slightest because i will never use the DMR over the BR.

So far, both the DMR and the Magnum will have bloom

What this man says is true.
Frankie stated that it’s not actually “bloom”, that it’s not the same mechanic as in Halo:Reach. Killa KC suggested that he didn’t really need to pace his shots, which means that it reset right when he could shoot. We are thinking it’s purely visual, as said above, but we don’t have any straight confirmation.
They have confirmed that bloom as seen in Reach will not return. Whether it returns in an altered form or as visual bloom only remains to be seen.
Am I the only one who didn’t mind Halo: Reach’s bloom? Heck whenever I play Halo 3 it takes me a game or two to get used to no bloom and no pacing my shots, especially team snipers

if you didn’t have a problem with vanilla reach bloom then yes you’re probably the only one out their
343 Really needs to implement a good ranking system to keep the game alive after the game is released. A good ranking system preferably the 1-50 system they had in halo 2 would be great because it gives gamers an incentive and drive to play the game more and to achieve a good rank rather then just playing the game and you get ranked on how long you play the game such as COD/BF3 style of ranking system

maybe something similar to 1-50
I think that bloom is gone and it’s replacement is recoil.
I really don’t haha
DMR and Pistol have bloom, but much mess than reach.

Br reported to have a slight, controllable, repeatable recoil. DMR has a slight graphical bloom but it is supposed to be so fast that it resets before the next shot. Some bloom is expected with the Pistol, and AR.
