Weird
It’s a bug with boarding, every now and then the grenades kinda just… sits on top of the vehicle and blows up rather than insta killing it.
With the mantis you can bail out before the grenade explodes and since you can’t board a vehicle with no one in it, the grenade blows up as normal. It’s the most annoying thing to fight when they know.
Sometimes if an teammate shoots your vehicule you will survive, don’t know why

in theory when they hit the nade it blows, but since friendly fire is disabled in warzone, it doesnt do any damage. hitting such a nade tho, is hard
there is a glitch right now where you can just exit your mantis when it gets boarded. it doesnt always work, but sometimes not only will you survive but it wont damage your mantis either. other times you survive but your mantis blows up. i dont understand how the glitch works but i wont lie and say i dont try and leave my mantis every time im boarded. board radius is half the map and everyone camos for it so i dont feel bad about doing it

make sure that you are in a downward motion when teabagging so the grenades explosion hit box cant keep up with you.
i started by teabagging and randomly about 50% of the time it worked. so i tried different methods and found out the glitch.

Did you have Wheelman on? I’ve survived in boarded scorpions after the grenade exploded by using Wheelman.

I haven’t had this happen with a Mantis, though another poster said they’d seen this glitch happen before with that vehicle. I kind of hope it’s a feature of Wheelman, as it would make vehicles much more viable.
At what cost? What must be sacrificed for such a miracle? (The poor guy who boarded you and not getting his deserved kill) WHAT I ASK YOU WHAT!!!
It’s a valid tactic, but it’s hard to pull off.
Awww, I was gonna do a funny thing, but then again, I don’t wanna support a necrothread…even though I am anyways.
