Quite the contrary actually. The ship can simulate any environment so both indoors and outdoors map are entirely possible. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more outdoors maps though considering that power weapons are supposed to drop down in drop pods from the sky.

This is probably the best way to explain it, so outdoor areas will most definitely be playable.
Like what everyone has said, the ship (UNSC Infinity) features a simulation area which is capable of creating a virtual version of any terrain!
So essentially it is something like someone said “Matrix” like… Which I also think is a hint at awesome options in forgeworld?
Surely they wouldn’t have something that can virtualise anything in existance and give us plain grey blocks to work with on the same open space?
