So... Multiplayer Is Canon Now...

So how are they going to explain Living Dead and Grifball?

I don’t think the military is going to be pleased with Spartan IVs using military equipment to have some fun.

Not all canon is created equal. Unless Living Dead is for training against the Flood and Grifball could just be a sport the military turns a blind eye to.

Um…team-building exercises!

Best I got for a “Spartans aren’t allowed to have fun” scenario.

Oh, the military is in on it.

It’s a behind closed doors blood sport. They turn off the safety protocols so the sparts can feel pain and the generals and various world leaders bet on the outcome of the matches. sort of like dog fighting, but with spartans.

lol. This gets my vote.

Oh yeah! Remember that time where I was sneaking up behind you. Then I said something sassy and knifed you in the back and you were all like “huh?” I think it was in the books somewhere.

What if high ranking officials hosted friday night customs. Or they could just be fun training exercises for the Spartans IVs

The same way they will explain Action Sack, Rocket Race and any other novelty gametype. They will all most likely be placed under the community playlist category.

Infection is “Red Rover” Spartan-style.
Grifball IS a sport (haven’t you been watching?)
Racing is vehicular training.
Action Sack is rehabilitation exercises.
Everything else, it’s all fair game in love and war games.

Well…
Now that i’ve read that, I think fun goes out the window.

They practice in case of a zombie apocalypse. You never know.

On a serious note, not every part of Mutliplayer has to be canon. They can just say this is canon and this isn’t.

How is Grifball or Living Dead canon? Because of reasons

I’d like to think of Infinity as canon and anything else inside it is simulation. Think of Infinity as a sort of danger room, where they could recreate any kind of scenario.

You mean a holodeck?

OMG Halo ripped off star trek WTFBOYCOTT!
