Lots of hatred coming from the casual camp directed at the competitive camp and vice versa. It’s only in a few threads but it’s unfortunate to see.
Im very competitive. I don’t like some of what I read. But until I play the game I can’t say if it’s good or not. Yelling at some random guy who disagrees with me isn’t doing anything to help anyones case. It’s a waste of time.

And there’s a reason for those strong feelings. Many played CE-3 hours and hours a day for years because of how amazing Halo was. Halo has become a part of them. People are overwhelmed with feelings of sadness, hatred, and disgust because a part of them is being crushed out of existence. A part of them is dying.
That may sound somewhat melodramatic, but it’s true. This will take time for people to accept, and many probably won’t accept the changes at any point. Let them get their frustrations out.

Agreed, most people saying “I hate this game” will actually like it and say that the change is good, it always happens as people always complain that they want it to be like the last title, it is a cycle that occurs in most video-game series

I dont think the games were near the game at all. look above.
HALO 3 took the ideas from halo 2, and halo 2 took the gameplay from halo 1.
Hence HALO 3 being the most popular game in its time.
Most people on here don’t view Halo as just a video game.

Exactly right. People hating on halo 4 have absolutely NOTHING to back up their reasoning aside form “DERP I saw this in cod and something like it is in halo so that AUTOMATICALLY means i know exactly how it will work in halo!”
Its getting so hold really. GI didnt even provide a single detail how these things work or if they are exclusive to some game modes, nothing. ALL they said is that they were in and everyone goes nuts lmao.
ITS really ironic because this same level of hate was directed at halo 2 at one time, yet now its considered the greatest halo of all time Lmfao!
