so much expectations

so before the lunch of halo 5 we had so much hype like hunt the truth nightfall and many trailers indicating that master chief has gone rouge and that Locke was trying to kill him and i thought that was going to be cool but when the launch of halo 5 finally came i found myself a bit disappointed at the campaign dont get me wrong i liked it but it is not at all as good as i thought it would be why did they pretty much say that Locke was trying to kill chief when he doesn’t even come close to trying to kill him 343 if you see this please explain yourselves

But yeah, that marketing campaign was basically criminal. Nothing to do with the lame story we got.

In fairness, the team that did the HTT stuff were told about as much about the game as we were.

People often forget that this is hardly the first time we’ve had such an occurence; Halo 2’s ilovebees and Halo 3’s Believe had very little to do with the events of those games. Remember Reach was the only one that had any kind of significant relation to the game itself, and that was an arbitrary connection at best.
