I have yet to see a team spawn a surplus of prophets banes.
I havnt seen one single spnkr prime since the pack
I have seen one Tartarus gavel, which I stole from the guy who spawned it and got part of a frenzy.
Nornfangs are still a precious item that players don’t seem to want to spawn. The game is usually close to being over or very one sided when I see one coming out.
The fact that you can get an answer from a silver pack, the wasp, the oni hog all have a greater effect on warzone than any of these ever did. Heck 343 lowering carbine from level 4 to 2 had a bigger effect than the month of mythic.
It seemed that those most outraged by the Month of Mythic were the ones that are against microtransactions in general. Warzone is specifically designed to not break when people have crazy amount of REQs. Month of Mythic changed none of that. Warzone has it’s problems, but it isn’t related to people having 10+ Prophet’s Banes.

> Sorry guys. This hasn’t broken warzone at all.
Actually three things have changed
I’ve gotten about a dozen free Banes from killing people and looting their maggot ridden corpse.
I’ve gotten three free spnkr primes from killing people and looting their maggot ridden corpse
I’ve gotten two free nornfangs from assassinating people and looting their maggot ridden corpse

Nice. I still havnt even seen a spnkr prime since the pack.
The prophets banes I have seen. But I find it amusing when guys will grab these and go try to cap a fortress solo because they feel invincible. Guys as soon as you’re called out. You’re dead. That bane you just spawned will be the other teams bane if you try and do that lone wolf stuff.

I still have three years on mine.
Edit: I forgot a fourth. I saw a guy actually charge the garage on Arc with a nornfang…I was laughing so hard.
The argument wasn’t about Halo 5 becoming unplayable it was about future microtransactions in future games becoming worse than month of mythic, by making a stand those who protested have hopefully averted the possible future of a pay for advantage Halo.
Those who were against Month of Mythic were thinking long term about the heath of the franchise not just the here and now, Month of Mythic was dangerously walking over a thin line, everyone was just simply worried that it would go further but only time will tell what side was correct in the end.

If you think about it. It is for the health and long term of halo 5. You have to think about the few new bloods coming in with nothing. Gives them a chance to have a few decent games. Yeah we all had to grind it out for almost a year now. But to keep people coming do You think new blood wants to grind it out for a year? Or just quit. Help the part time players to coming back. If smuall drops in the bucket keeps bringing people back to play. I am all for it.
Are you kidding me? Month of Mythic changed Waypoint into a cesspool of bs, complaints, cries of doom and gloom and bickering. Oh yeah, guess you were right. It changed nothing. /s

If people cant be asked to put time into a game then they shouldn’t play it in the first place to be honest, admittedly I don’t like facing off against an opponent that has better stuff than me but that makes me a better player in the long run because I have to learn to adapt, shortcuts are a short term solution that do more damage in the long run.
I could be a SR 1 and I could buy a Norfang or a Prophets bane but if I haven’t learned to use it correctly or how to counter effectively by spending the time with it then there’s no point to be honest, but despite that Microsoft would still get the money from the packs and would still continue to pump the packs out no matter how many Reqs I waste. And as time goes on those packs might get more expensive or more damaging for Halo but we don’t know what there plans are so we cant say for certain.
Halo shouldn’t have to change its identity to please a casual group of players that are not dedicated to play the game fully, yes people have work and education but they still decide what they do or play in there spare time.
It might benefit Halo 5 in the long run but it will not benefit the entire franchise in the long run.
I agree it didn’t change much, but when it did, entire warzone matches were unplayable. For instance, it was a close tied game, and suddenly, we lost all three bases, and we were getting spawncamped, by SPNKr users… But yeah, I just want Month of Mythic to end. lol

Or maybe it hasn’t broken Warzone because the majority of the people who still play the game are relatively active on this website, and don’t like it, very few people like it. The reason why it’s not a big deal (for you) is because, practically everyone is against the idea of the pack.
I would guess most people are hoarders and simply don’t want to waste them on losing battles. I refuse to use any REQs in the first 5 minutes of the game. I wait to see how the battle is going to play out. If it looks like its going to be a close balanced match I will start to use stuff. But too many times I’m getting into matches that are lost in the first 3 minutes of the game. I currently have a 47% win rate. 47%. that should tell you how unbalanced the matchmaking is.
