What happened to that from the ads? I want to see it as an armor in multiplayer? Why wasn’t it included? Where did it go? Where was Chief when he was wearing it?

As others have stated, it was unfortunately just used for the (very, very misleading) advertising campaign.

Calm down. If a cloak is enough to make you not want to play then Halo probably isn’t the right series for you.

You are covered from head to toe in body armor so you must need a cloak in the desert to block the sun from hitting you basically.
To Cloak or not to Cloak that is the question? Think it would become more like Destiny if we had cloaks. Just stick with the good old fasion armor. Besides wouldn’t want any bullet holes in my Sunday Cloak. That would just ruin my day.

Yes it did seem like 343i were focused on mass false advertisement, seem’s like an odd thing for 343i to do since nearly forgot about the cloak.

The marketing has pissed me off so much here. I have a feeling the narrative was supposed to go that way, but somewhere along the line, plotlines were rewritten and changed up, so 343 just came out and said it was all a ONI/UNSC propaganda campaign. Problem is the marketing told a better storyline I was expecting than the game itself did.

Not to mention that the MC Halo 5 toy also had him wearing it too! So I’m wondering what the heck happened as well.
