I think honestly the only thing to do with this game is to just put it down for 2-3 weeks until they get everything ironed out, because if I keep trying to play it in its broken state I’m going trade it back in. Bad enough Gamestop is offering a guaranteed $40 for it now.

I’m still just trying to get through the campaign on CE, but half the time achievements don’t award, sometimes they do, it tracks terminals, sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes it just shows all my stats as being zero, etc. Tried to run through Assault on the Control Room yesterday, it didn’t award anything for the terminal/skull or mission completion, but it gave me the achievement for 500 campaign medals, weird. Then it shows all my campaign stats set at 0.00 and Waypoint says I have never played MCC.

So today I jump on to try again, run through Assault on the Control Room a second time. Again no achievement for level completion or the terminal, but this time it awarded Wraith Hunter and You are the Weapon. Then halfway through the mission it quit tracking my score and just popped red zeroes for every enemy I killed. So if the score is bugged how am I supposed to try to beat the par score?

Anyways, just so many issues with this game that I really want to enjoy but can’t since nothing seems to be working properly. Going to just put it down for awhile in hopes they get this all fixed and sorted out soon.

I remember playing Assault on the Control Room without any achievements, stats, terminals, skulls, etc. It was called playing Halo :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m kidding, it is a mess. This patch should take care of much of the stats and achievements (check out the blog, there are patch notes up).

What do you mean that it’s bad Gamestop is offering $40 for the game? They usually don’t like paying that much money for something that doesn’t work. They’ll be re-selling it once it’s fixed, so just hang on to it.

Oh I know, but its just kind of annoying that none of this stuff is working. That’s why I’m trying not to overreact and just put it away until its fixed. I can play Reach and Mass Effect 3 to tide me over, with a bit of Destiny here and there, though I’m already bored senseless of that game.

I just figured it was tempting since normally Gamestop makes you take a big hit on trade ins, but they are offering $40 guaranteed for Halo, just found that interesting.

The gamestop deal is a normal thing that they do to get more money for new games that have come out.

I wish people would stop using that as some sort of special case for Halo. Listed on that page are practically all of the recent games that have come out.
