They be ruining mah beta rank.
So its not just me who always gets paired with them… its either afker or someone who decides to go 2-24… doing my head in. Would mind playing with decent ppl on my team for a change…
What does AFK mean?
On the above note regarding the 2-24 players. We are not all that great. Just because I am gold 2 and another player is a semi-pro doesn’t mean I am a scub as they would describe. Yes I think players that perform at these types of levels should be paired properly with their skill levels. Think of it from their perspective. How can you expect them to be a longtime fan of the game if they are getting paired against pro and semi pro players. They go 2-24 because their opponents are miles ahead of their skill level and yet they get paired up with them anyway. The elite don’t consider it but you guys hate that they play badly, but perhaps you can help that by not going out noob stomping or trying to help new players by mentoring. Rather than complain that they went 2-24 bring them into a party, tell them what they did wrong and how they can improve. Teach them about the maps and how to properly navigate and control them. Teach them the nuances of the weapons and abilities so that they might improve and one day become your greatest ally rather than flaming them into oblivion. We want to nurture the halo fan base not be ruthlessly selective like the Greek Spartans by telling them to go play Battlefield or COD. Halo used to be known for its great down to earth fan base and I know we can get back to it. We just need to get back to a level where we help each other and create meaningful discussion rather than having constant hostility and flame wars. Lets be the bigger men and women and create a family with the halo fanbase rather than rapidly deteriorating whining, complaining, and flaming more known to the other fanbases.
