I LOVE that 343 decided to give free gold packs for just playing and winning firefight ON TOP of the effin amount of RP you receive
yeah, the packs have been really nice. Definitely helping with the grind
How long will Firefight be dropping free Gold packs for, it said a limited time right? I haven’t been able to play all week because my power brick for my One died.

I have no idea, all I know is that the Firefight mastery gives off 5 gold packs and that offer probably lasts a lifetime.
Pretty tired of people who still do not know that they are awarded when you finish a tier in the Firefight commendations .
But yeah, it’s nice to get some good old gold packs for free.

That’s why I said you get free packs by just playing and winning firefight.

Its all tied to commendations, so forever.
Once you’ve maxed out all the commendations though, its back to the same old.

Yeah, but that ‘Firefight Victory’ commendation is lethal! I’m on 4/5 and it requires 40 Firefight wins before ranking up to level 5!

Worst part is that level 4 only rewards you a single gold pack. You’d think you would maintain the 5 Gold pack award for 40 wins in Firefight. Makes me scared to see the level 5 requirement.

But come to think of it I’ve completed almost half of the gold packs thanks to firefight and I’m on level 3 of firefight wins wich gives you a lot of packs so probably level 5 is the effin gold mine (no pun intended)

Level 5 is 60 wins 
I thought they said for a limited time you get 5 gold packs when you get 10 wins. I just got my 9th win last night, which also awarded a few gold packs for completing the level 3 commendation. Did I just misunderstand the daily message?

Yeah I was confused on that as well. I didn’t get 5 gold packs for my 10th win but I did for my 9th. I guess they were just talking about the commendations and rounded up the number?
