Tell me about one of the new weapons that you are most exiting to use first 
I have to go with the new sniper (’‘Beam Rifle’’), finally we have a good sniper on both sides! Yea, i did’t like the focus rifle in Reach 
The Beam Rifle isn’t new! It’s been in Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 3: ODST!
As for choosing a weapon… only you can do that.
My secondary will likely be the Boltshot. It’s like a Magnum/Mauler combo!

But this sniper in Halo 4 is not the beam rifle, it’s more like a Promethion(?**) sniper

There is a human, Covie, and Promethean sniper in Halo 4.

To me the boltshot looks terrible, i’l probably have the magnum or the PP.
Close/Mid
Primary: AR, BR or Covenant Carbine
Secondary: Plasma Pistol or Boltshot
Mid/Far
Primary: DMR or Lightrifle
Secondary: Magnum
BR and AR for me.

Sniper and Beam Rifle function essentially the same as they did in the previous games. The Promethean sniper is a 1 shot kill anywhere on the body!
Spawn with the Noob Combo. No real disadvantage besides the PP’s charge shot homing being slightly nerfed, and if you’re experienced you shouldn’t be relying completely on the homing in the first place.
Battle rifle and magnum. Nuff said.
Light rifle or BR for primary, and storm rifle for secondary if I get that certain armor mod.
Haven’t really decided yet!
But after I beat the campaign I’m going to try to make a awesome Sniper gametype using all three. May hide a few of the Binary Rifles throughout the map for balance. Not sure yet.

In all seriousness I might just go with the BR/AR combo for old times sake, there’s something very satisfying about that 3 round burst.
