I am trying to figure out why I am lagging so hard every single game. I have 25 mb/s dl speed, and 4.2 mb/s upload speed, and my ping is about 12 ms.
I never had an issue until they applied the “patch” on sunday and now am unable to perform in games because people are constantly stuttering, lagging, etc. every game. What is the issue(s)?
No one is downloading in my house, watching movies, w.e. and I am home alone at the moment. This has been a constant issue for me and I would like to get some possibilities or if they are truly fixing these issues. The population has been on a steady decline, I hope this is not turning out to be Reach all over again.

There is a major lag issue and I have tried to contract 343 by posting on the issues thread. They will reply to simple stupid problems but not reply to anything major like this. I really hope they fix it because I have been unable to get anything more than +7 K/D spread. Before this I was going around 21 and 8 but now I can’t get anything close to that. Noobs are beating me and my K/D spread has dropped another 100. It’s so frustrating especially when they can’t even say they know about the problem.

Did they say they were investigating when you talked to them?

But how is this fair? “Oh you can play other people but they will have an advantage over you because their internet is garbage and yours is good” That makes no sense, have you heard of any changes.

I’m pretty sure they experience the same issues we do.
Wouldn’t say it’s fair, nor would I say it is not not fair. If that makes any sense. But I did notice this happen in Reach, sometimes. Though it’s been happening a lot more in H4. Haven’t heard of any changes, but someone else might have.

i forgot to mention when i was playing there were like 80,000 people maybe online. I never had lag issues with Reach, so I really do not understand why they changed the formula for the net code when it worked… herp derp
I have this problem where half the game I’ll be in black screen. I can hear my teammates talking buuuuut I’ll be in black screen. Some games I’m literally in it for half the game, other games about every other 3 minutes I’ll be in it for a minute or so. Really iritating. I never had lag problems before and any other game I play on Xbox Live I’m fine in.

But Fresh, because only half of the Halo online community is having connection issues, lag issues or matchmaking issues, it is not a big deal.
