I’m tired of going into a topic where theres so many ignorant players going around calling us, who enjoy Halo 4 and can deal with change “bad kids, noobs, casuals” or just down right insulting us.
Just because we enjoy the game, doesn’t mean everyone is bad, noobish or a casual.
I personally think Halo 4 is the best Halo to date. Yeah, theres a few bugs/flaws here and there, but none of which are gamebreaking.
The game is great, fun, addicting, flows like any other halo with the addition of AA’s (which IMO work much better than Reach’s AA’s), Ordnance is actually not so bad, yes, they should tone down certain weapons and make some much harder to get, but it’s not that bad.
I don’t expect you all to come here now going “oh you’re a casual if you like Halo 4”
No, i play every game with the intent to win, I, like alot of others are waiting on the CSR to be implemented, to play more competitively.
Also, the damn Boltshot doesn’t need nerfing, it’s fine how it is, learn to counter it, it’s not so hard. (No i don’t use it.)

Its not about how Halo 4 its casual (Halo its always competitive, most of the time), its about the problems, the game has horrible lag, unbalanced weapons, ordinance being unbalanced (I can get a Killtastrope and get a Needler, Frag grenades and Overshield being useless in maps like Ragnarok, while the other team have Binary Rifles and Rocket Launchers), people get mad for how they lose and have nothing to do but come here and complaint, still If you purchased a car that required numerous trips back to a dealer for fixes or numerous recalls for quality issues, I would bet you would be whining.
Yeah, we’re all noobs and casuals. Been gaming since 1984 with an arcade joystick in my hand on my father’s lap… but still a casual, clearly. We should just accept that being super-competitive is now the watchword for hardcore-ness. You can’t suck at a game or play for fun and still be a core gamer now.
You have to be take multiplayer deadly seriously. And above all, you must be “l33t.” (Even though the people saying that probably don’t even know where that terminology originated.) But don’t mind that. We’re casual noobs. We suck. Clearly. Or we’d hate the game.

I agree with what you said, except the boltshot. Sure, i avoid running into corners, but on small maps, the enemy could pop out of any hole with a jetpack and just auto one shot you with it. Its really broken. People also claim you hear a noise when its charging. I believe you can only hear it when its right in your face. At least make it as loud as the plasma pistol.

“I disagree because I enjoy the game” is a perfectly legitimate response. It’s a videogame. If you like it, you like it. If you don’t, you don’t. It’s not my job to argue and convince someone else to like something I do. I can list reasons for liking it until the cows come home, but that isn’t going to change someone’s mind if they truly dislike the game. Nor should it. That’s their prerogative and I have zero problem with it.
This is a new Halo trilogy made by a new developer. Some people loved the Bungie Halo’s, some did not. Some people will love 343’s Halo’s, and some will not.
Its perfectly fine to not care for a new addition to a series. Just because you loved the previous titles does not mean you have to like the new ones.
Good example is Star Wars. I absolutely love the original triolgy, and hate the prequel trilogy. In my mind, the movies of episodes I-III did not happen and I do not recognize them at all. Utterly terrible movies, my opinion.
So just because you grew up with Halo or you put in so many hours of your life into those games does not mean that you have to like or buy the new Halo’s. It’s fine to be critical of the game, but respect the fact that there are people out there that really enjoy this game and plan on buying the next few Halos.

They don’t even post what they like, why they like,why they wouldn’t like these changes, or why having both options wouldn’t be good.
You don’t have to list every reason. just relevant reasons.
example:
I dislike instant respawn b/c it makes it impossible to control maps which was a key feature in previous halos. Also I can never get my shield recharge so I always have to hide in order to regain shields. this actually slows down games instead of making them fast pace. It also allows you a short time to watch your teammates back or scout out the area where you died.
I LOVE INSTANT RESPAWN CUZ I CAN GET MORE KILLS (even if it means .5 kd, and it actually doesn’t let you get more kills b/c every1 else has it) - people who respond with stuff like this really need their posting rights taken.
but on a srs note: instant respawns allows me to rack up multi-kills easier (and then i would respond, if multi-kills are easier, aren’t they less rewarding anyway [not to mention they are so bland now])
in short, if you have nothing to contribute, please don’t post anything. I know you have probably repeated yourself a couple of times. seriously just copy and pasta it.

I don’t have a problem with those who don’t enjoy the game and give their reasons, everyone is entitled to opinion, but going around claiming everyone who does to be a noob or casual etc is ignorant.

its not really anything against you its just get your best player who enjoys halo 4 and put him up against anyone above a 35 in halo3 and he will probably lose
