Every game there is someone betraying people. As soon as the game starts they throw grenades at people or if you get a power weapon they want they just kill you for it and you don’t even get the option to kick them. Hopefully the COD audience stays on BO3 where they belong when H5 comes out.
Also the constant 1/4 of the team being afk or quitting 5 seconds into the match is getting really -Yoink!- annoying.
24 hours ban for being AFK, leaving the game and betraying more than 3 times in one game will clean halo games from idiots very fast. 343 must clench their balls in the fist and make it, nobody will be upset if those morons will be gone.
AS much as I hate these type of people I just leave them to it… before I used to leave the game now that there is a penalty I stay to the end however!!!
I played a game of HaloCE today and some kid betrayed me like 12 times till i quit. I guess you cant boot people out of a halo 1 game or it doesnt give you the option. I blocked him and I noticed on his profile he had a COD achievement picture starting his showcase. I guess you are right COD kids are very bad to have on your team in Halo.
Not trying to justify anyones actions or defend anything but why are people betray “COD” kids? The more popular modes in COD do not have friendly fire. In all of my years playing COD, when i do play i play hardcore mode that does have friendly fire, i have never once been team killed for a weapon.

I’m not sure but I would guess that they are not gonna betray you in a game that they love, then they get on halo and see that you are going ham in a game and start betraying you for no other reason except that you are good at halo. At least thats the way it feels when this starts happening to me. I’m not saying it’s only COD players that do this, all I’m saying is the guy that did it to me today had a COD achievement on the front of his showcase.
Don’t worry. They’ll soon learn they can’t do that in Halo. Halo’s always been a game where stuff like that will only earn you a good boot and maybe a ban.
I noticed that H2 and above have the 3 betrayal rule, but I wish H1 had something like that. It is pure chaos sometimes, I was in a game once where one person killed another for the sniper on Blood Gulch and, well you guys know where this story goes. They just kept killing and killing until we ultimately lost the game because the other team took advantage and just got the Flag… Animals…

I like it. I thought they should implement something like CS:GO has where if you quit or are booted for team killing you get a 30 minute ban but the ban time increases the more you do it.

This, why do we label them COD kids? They are just kids or adults being jerks, or not knowing how to play the game.
I used to let this really get to me. Now I just ignore, boot, and report. That is of course I have the option to boot.

343 should have easily foreseen this, especially when they came up with the awful idea of cross-game ranked playlists.
Hopefully they can fix this along with all other issues with disconnects and host quits resulting in losses.
Why are they COD kids? Were these kids, COD kids, that betrayed me at the beginning and throughout of Halo 2 in 2004? No they weren’t so cut this -Yoink- out.
I only been betrayed once on purpose so far on MCC. Some dude killed me for a bomb on Assault. But to label everyone as CoD kids? That seems a bit unfair.
There no friendly fire in COD unless you play hard core mode. So not sure why you call them COD kiddies
As for betrayal. Most people who betray do it accidentally.
It’s not my fault if I throw a grenade then a team mate decides to come running to where I threw it or if i’m firing at someone and a team mate runs in my line of fire.
You do get the odd idiot who betrays on purpose though. Playing Halo 4 on 360 the other day some idiot who was either a -Yoink- or colour blind was going round betraying people. After he killed me 3 times I got the option to kick him.
Maybe they should make the punishment for betraying harsher?
