So like pelicans?

Pelicans - what do you guys think about having them as a vehicle in Halo 6? it could work as a sort of falcon but I think it should maybe just be limited to certain game modes like maybe warzone 2.0 (in halo 6) because you need some big maps to be able to use them. Also maybe it could have a better use in the story maybe cause I know we got to play with it in Halo 4 and a little in halo reach but why not add it to a few missions. I think it would be great if we had like a bunch of vehicles to choose from at the start of a mission and one option was to choose a pelican I think it would be interesting and different. probably the most important would be its use in forge and custom games. especially with Halo 5’s amazing forge, I think it would work out really well and would bring a lot more to the game. let me know what you guys think?

Pelicans in warzone 2.0, pickup and drop off marines. I like the idea of A.I dropoff/pickup.

I like the idea of pelicans being used in more of calling I perk kind of way. So calling in for pelican gunships to attack a certain area. Calling in a pelican to drop troop AI off to defend a certain area. As for a pelican being used by a players as an actual vehicle think it wouldn’t be practical or very fun. Even large warzone maps would be cramped for the pelican. Heck, some of the maps are too cramped for smaller vehicles. Would like to see falcon or hornets come into warzone for halo 6 though. Being able to have a mid size vehicle that can carry troops via air would be fun.

Maybe not for competitive gamemodes given pelican could be a bit overpowered, especially if it has rockets like seen in Halo 3. And if it doesnt have powerful weapons it could be just big target for nothing. Also, no thanks monkeying perks or streaks. Not every multiplayer needs to be the same.
Maybe it could be on something like warzone firefight at most when talking about multiplayer.

Though on campaign there could be some level/section where you can use a pelican though there should be a reason as to why SPARTAN would be using it instead of a proper pilot. Given pilots are specialized on flying, they are more fitting for troop transport duty, they are more expendable given if pelican gets destroyed the one piloting it likely gets killed too.
So then, what could be the possible situations for SPARTAN piloting the pelican then? Well, aside from what was seen in H4 the pilot could be injured/killed and the only person capable of piloting would be the player and there would be no time or reinforcement pilot nearby or something like that.
