Team Snipers gets replaced with rocket hog wars, or sword/hammer fest, or promethean cannon battles? Probably something to cater to those that just wanna have fun without having to aim. Halo is an FPS, it should require some degree of skill to play!!!
Team snipes is being removed simply because people are so bad at sniping. My first three games of snipes I went 24-11, 39-11, and 37-4 because people were crouching in the middle of the map. They had the reaction times of an 80 yr old man. It was great! Thats the way halo should be. It should require a learning curve, but apparently playing a game and getting better at it is something that died with my generation of gamers. Everyone today wants to pick up the controller and instantly destroy, and game developers cater to their every need.
Competitive play is dissolving into nothingness.

I’m 26 and was fortunate enough to get to play H2 and 3 at the peak of their online multiplayer experience. Sooo, that generation.

I had fun with previous halos. Why does a game have to be dumbed down for me to have fun?
If you’re trying to play Halo 4 as a competitive game, you’re insane. Everything about it is catered towards a gimmicky, party game. It’s fun for a while, but you definitely shouldn’t be using this as your competitive play outlet.
Snipers have the most aim-assist in any Halo, so don’t assume you’re “good” at sniping.

They are rotating for a while. And it depends on how popular they are if they stay.
For example, SWAT stayed because it was really popular.
This isn’t about skill. SWAT and Snipers are extremely popular, but 343 thinks it’s a good idea to remove them.
I don’t support rotation. If enough people want it, let them have it.
