So let me get this straight

You have to buy the battle pass in order to get the privlage to complete challenges ?

What kind of dystopian nightmare is this?

Imagine paying money to only get the chance to work for items. And not actually getting the item

A big fat LOL from my end

Not sure about that tbh, you sure you’re not reading it wrong?

Well you can reach Level 100 of the battle pass without paying money and you can complete all the weekly and ultimate challenges. You just don’t earn much if you play for free. I don’t have the 10 bucks to buy the battle pass yet.

I am at Level 57 now and have unlocked a few emblems, visors and backgrounds. No helmet So far.

It says “locked” “upgrade to battle pass”

That’s weird because people are completing them without paying.

You can an extra slot so you can work on 4 challenges at a time with the premium pass. Free you can still complete 3 challenges at a time.

This was what I told some other fool on this forum a month back when he was defending the monetization of Infinite.

I told him it was ridiculous we are PAYING to grind. And 40% of our reward are challenge swaps and boosts anyway.

It’s almost like the challenges solely exist for the purpose of progressing the battlepass.

And maybe they give you these challenges and force you to grind so you have something to earn over the next 3 months until the next season.

It’s ALMOST like this is a common tactic used by a plethora of games to encourage players to come back every season, so they can keep updating said game, and not just a Halo: Infinite thing.

Amazing reality we live in, isn’t it? People pay real money for the opportunity to grind items. Battle passes are a hilarious concept.
