So let me get this straight.

Basically saying, specializations will have a level progression system and the level will max out at 10? Ok, for I have a question for the community.

Why the hell are you people calling this level progression system a “prestige” let alone comparing it to the COD system? A specialization is a feauture that will allow you to do more of what you like to do. When its gunning for a Warthog, or Sniping or going CQC. As you level that specialaztion you gain more customization for that specialization in which when you max out, you’ll basically have all customization for that specialization. It’s not prestiging at all. Seriously people quit looking at things from a compeitive standpoint and look at it from the whole thing. The more you people look at it from that standpoint the more casual this game is going to become and Halo 4 will be dead before it even launches.

competitive gamers would never care about such insignifigant things

> competitive gamers would never care about such insignifigant things

Right, have you seen the threads on here that have been in uporar about it? I think they do care.

But then again, people jump to conclusions on here about every single thing…

What can I say? It was quite a bombshell for me…

To be honest I don’t -Yoinking!- care. I’ve played Halo since the launch of the original CE and own and love all of them. I think it is a decent enough idea and has absolutely nothing to do with actual rank and armor so people really need to calm down a bit and read it again.

Damn accidental reposts. Sorry

Eh, even I made the mistake of relating it to prestiges. I guess everyone overhypes stuff at first. I’d just love to get a little more info on it, so we can properly judge and relate.

Alls this prestiging system is doing is making it to where it doesnt reward long time players in any other way than a 1-10 next to whatever.

Its harmful for dedicated halo fans, competitive or otherwise.

Its like making a general able to get all the armor an inheritor has.

Its kind of annoying that people overreact over the smallest tid bits of details instead of waiting for clarification

I think that it still rewards others for playing longer than another. I don’t really like how others get an advantage but we’ll know more soon.

So specializations have a progression level to them? So my question is, does each level add to the specialization? Like does each higher level result in an improvement to the specialization?

I appear to be a little late to the party on this one.
Where did you get this info?

> competitive gamers would never care about such insignifigant things

Yes, because “competitive” players never have clans with emblems or anything…
