So, according to information released, one has to reach Level 50 before they can even consider using Specializations.
We don’t know how long/hard it will be to get to Level 50.
So, I could be buying the LE, and never get a chance to use something I am paying extra for?

I don’t think anyone should have them.
You shouldn’t be able to buy perks for online play that make you more powerful.

I like these mods because they give everyone their own individual play style like I could be a Stealth kind of guy and hey we got some Stealth gear, I could be a team guy hey we got some Team Gear. I doubt these perks really make that much of a difference in gameplay just depends on whos using what and how you attack what their using.

We got years to play Halo4 before the next Halo, you saying you ain’t gonna get to lvl 50 by then? I just got Reach last Christmas, I’m all ready a General Grade 1.

Calm down bro, In the end if you do the math, the LE only covers
$60 <- The game
$20 or so dollars <- Forward unto dawn
$30 <- 3 Map packs.
All in all you arent even paying for the Specializations.

Don’t get me wrong, I am going to play Halo 4. But, as I said, it depends on how long/hard it takes to get to 50. I have a full time job now and will be going to college soon, and I can’t exactly bring my Xbox to my dorm. Meaning that takes away a good chunk of play time.

I only play Reach on the weekend for an hour lol. But hey try to make like schedule or something so you can your money’s worth out of the LE.
lol I don’t think you have to worry about it taking too long. At most, with regular play, I see it taking a few weeks. AT MOST. If I have to wait more than 10 games to use the BR or Carbine or DMR I think 343i will of -Yoinked!- up. This isn’t CoD where we need to wait to unlock guns. That -Yoink- should be given to us from the beginning, it’s HALO. I don’t enjoy having a carrot dangled in front of me. I don’t need that to play Halo. I play Halo b.c. of the gameplay, not the unlocks/armor/perks… I hope 343i realizes that Halo shouldn’t follow CoD like that. I don’t like bringing up CoD but it’s the only universally understood example. So, I’m hoping the Specializations don’t take months to get to, and months of grinding to unlock. Don’t make this FPS a grind and reward people that can play all day with better equipment. I’m starting to pinch myself to make sure I’m talking about Halo b.c. it feels weird to hear ‘unlocking equipment’ in the same sentence as ‘Halo’.
You will get access to 3 map packs, weapon skins, a cool steel case, in universe content, FuD extended edition, this is already more what you are paying for.

All gametypes will have default loadouts. So, you don’t have to unlock BR or DMR to use it, you unlock it so you can Customize your loadout and aren’t stuck with just the default ones.
I muist have missed being level 50 to use specializations?
I read the article on IGN and it said 10 extra level, the tenth of which unlocks the perk. Does this mean you have to get to max level before you can enter a spec?

Not you don’t. You just rank up faster if you win more games. It’s xp based, so eventually you will be hitting 50 pretty soon…

Yes, you have to be max rank to enlist in a specialization. There’s 10 levels in each. So, think of it as…max rank is 50, you choose a specialization, and now you go to rank 60. Then you can choose another specialization, and now go to rank 70, and so on.
Hopefully todays Bulletin will reveal more about how long it will take to get to 50.

You know that specializations are armor mods, the same thing as firepower and awareness, right?
