I’ve read that i’m not the only one who is facing this issue.

I completed Legendary offline (just got LIVE after I beat it), got the achievements, except not a single commendation. Doesn’t even say on my service report.

So, should I wait it out for an update, or shoot myself in the face and redo Legendary?

I’d wait for an update. Maybe they don’t have a way for it to register into commendations yet, if you did it offline.
