so just like the mcc on pc, local co-op is missing

WTH 343i / microsoft ? only online co-op listed on steam game page like tmcc, no local co-op.

f f s so again, it looks like pc players will get a dumbed down release.

BLAH BLAH BLAH but no one plays split screen on pc BLAH BLAH

doesn’t bode well for getting split screen on the mcc…

Dang, didn’t 343 say a few years ago that going forward all future halo games would have splitscreen? Sad thing is I’m not all that surprised that was a lie…

343 has already confirmed multiple times that it will have local co-op

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/finance/technology/halo-infinite-will-have-split-screen-co-op-at-launch-reaffirms-343-industries/ar-BB176yoA

They should’ve added a disclaimer.

*console versions of all halo games will get split screen. this feature is not applicable to the pc releases.

nowhere in that article does it say pc will will get it. go to the steam product page, only sodding online co-op is listed, just like with the mcc. it was included, it would be listed.

game looks good but i don’t want to buy an xbox one to play split screen infinite…it’s bs. i wanna play it on pc like all the other peeps.

Pc’s can not handle local split-screen. The Xbox is designed for multiple people to play on. Imagine my pathetic 1660ti trying to render two people at once. Plus most computers can’t handle multiple control inputs. We will still have split-screen for the console.

Consoles are literally PCs with a different OS. Specifically designed to play games. Not multi task like PCs. I’m more than sure you could play split screen on halo 3 with that card and an i5 processor.

You’re high I hope? Nucleus coop is a thing for mcc that works. Xenia plays split screen no issue. Gears 4 and 5 have split screen. The Xbox wireless adapter supports 8 controllers. Not to mention a 1070 or higher paired to a decent CPU and ram runs laps around an Xbox one x. Tell me again how a PC can’t handle split screen?

hell you could probably play it split screen with a 980gtx paired to a sandy bridge i5 with 8 gigs of ram. the game is not that demanding.

first off we don’t know how demanding halo infinite will be. And as that guy said, it is running a different os. It maybe too difficult for the company to push out split screen for so many different PCs when most people will never use the split screen function on a pc. Can you honestly tell me that you would hook up a second keyboard and mouse and take your pc to a tv for split screen. That’s why they are making the consul, for people who want couch coop

Never have I heard a pc gamer say “damn I hope this has split screen”…

first things first a current top tier gaming rig is leagues more powerful than anything the series x has to offer and don’t pretend it’s not. second why does no one seem to realize that there is a wireless adapter for windows that supports 8 xbox controllers at the same time! Third The coalition another MS first party studio included split screen for both gears 4 and gears 5. It’s as if anyone who argues against it just doesn’t read a word we say and goes urhurrr pc keyboard 2 play dumb. It’s a stigma that should be broken and some developers have done just that. For the pinnacle Microsoft FPS you’d think they’d include it. Also just the fact it’s been acknowledged and is on the backlog of MCC due to high demand shows that there is enough people who want said feature on pc. Not everyone is using pc monitors for their rigs there is a large chunk of the pc gaming community that have their rigs piped into giant 4k sets. Also a different o.s. you’re kidding me right? All of these current gen and next gen consoles are built under the same architecture it’s not as if we’re in the days of power p.c. vs x86 anymore. This is why every xbox first party game is play anywhere now.
