Does anyone know how to disable Join-In-Progress? The past 5 games I’ve joined have been automatic loses for me because my team was getting whupped by 4-man teams on the other side.

No way to disable it, unfortunately.

That’s a shame. It gets annoying having to take a loss by default because the game put you in a match where the enemy has a 300-400 point lead on you.
i have joined a game 570-170 on the losing team.
but worst of all a CTF game losing 4-0 and the flag nearly home lasted less than 15 secs this is so poor. ive played 10k games on h3 and reach and love the games. ive had enough of this after 70 games i cant believe the halo that was is now like this its so upsetting
You’re a fool if you’re quitting solely over the join in progress. Yeah most of the time it sucks but Halo 4 is pretty damn good. You aren’t going to find a better competitive console shooter. Far better than reach and approaching the level of Halo 3 at least.
