And I understand how a lot of people like to use the Battle Rifle because it brings back a lot of memories from Halos 2 and 3, but that’s pretty much all I see. I barely see any love for the Assault Rifle. Does anyone want to see more AR action?

HI everyone, my name is nick. And I prefer the AR over the BR or DMR.
Someone did take the time to play with the AR and upload the video. There’s even a thread here about it where a lot of people are annoyed that they increased the bloom way too much so that it’s only capable of being ‘good’ at close range while spraying.
I’ve never like the Assault Rifle in ANY Halo.

Yeah, I think I saw a little bit of that, but I can’t seem to find it. If you could provide a link, that would be very much appreciated.

I’m wicha bud.
From what I’ve seen it does VERY well in close quarter,s one guy took down to BR users. The second he beat even when the guy got first shot and he was half shields and reloading.
I’ve never really cared for the AR and I scowl at the thought of AR starts. It’s a good secondary to switch to if I need to finish someone off quickly, but I can’t use it as a primary.
At the moment, I’ll probably be using the CC the most.

Hi, I’m Donny (yup, name’s in the GT). I am a strong AR user. I have been known to use this weapon just about every time I have the chance. It is my weapon of choice throughout all the Halos that included it. I am glad to see the Assault Rifle dominate at close and even medium range at some encounters. I love the sight of a BR user struggling at close range and ultimately shredded apart by the AR. I am very excited.

Hello! My name is Erick. I prefered the assault rifle to the DMR and battle rifle when I Played halo 4.
Automatic weapons are my weapOns of choice in halo 4.
They are deadly, strong, accurate and fun to shoot!
I feel like this is an AA meeting, Assault-users Anonymous, where you admit you have a problem and are in the road to recovery.

I think the AR looks so fun to use in H4. It looks a lot better at CQC than previous iterations. I will have a blast using it.
I might have a CQB Loadout with the AR, Plasma Pistol (is it still in Halo 4?), and plasma grenades, for maximum efficiency. Beyond that, I doubt I’ll use it often, the Carbine is so attractive…
I might use it more often in the campaign if there are less shielded enemies (here’s hoping to Elites being rarer, but more difficult to beat).
Hey everybody, My name is Lucas. I think the AR looks nice and cute. I think the AR should kill slower because it’s easier to use. If 343 added some kind of way to broaden the skill gap with the AR, I will support faster kills times. Maybe they shouldn’t have taken out burst firing. I want to shoot myself with 12 BR bullets but have to shoot 15, it makes me cry at night.
