I was watching some youtube videos where people who use glitching out of a map after they get one point lead and hiding the rest of the game until the timer runs out or the players quit in order to win. And after the match they prompted on trolling the other players who lost and were not too happy that they decided to glitch out of a map.
I’m of two minds, I either think it’s rather genius to take the time to be able to do all those tricks in order to get out of the map, but that’s just skill to find a place to hide. Is it really skill to win by those methods?
I find it cowardly and trollish, but I also see the skill behind it.
As far as cowardly goes, it really isn’t. Most HLG players actually ARE quite skilled, they just like messing with people who take the game too seriously. If you ever run into an HLG player and manage to kill him/her, -Yoink!- them and watch what happens.
A lot of people get REALLY mad when people go off map, because they declare it “cheating”. However, HLG players actually post videos of how they get off the map, so it’s not like they keep it a secret. There really is no reason why you can’t go off the map and kill them.

You’re wrong HLG players suck, a lot, the only thing they’re exceptionally skilled at is finding ways to get out of the map, even though you aren’t supposed to.
People who get annoyed at people not playing the game isn’t taking the game too seriously, quite frankily if you were playing a game of soccer with some buddies and you were trying to play the game and not fool around and your buddies on the other team weren’t following the rules or were screwing around, you’d get upset too.
Same principle in order to have good sportsmanship you first have to play as a good sport too otherwise trolling people who are upset over someone playing the cheap way is ridiculous.

Whatever the HLG players say how much it requires skill, and whatever the players who have faced HLG players say that HLG players have no skill, neither of them are right. HLG is pathetic simply for the reason that it shows bad sportmanship. And it’s not because the victims aren’t capable of going to those spots, but simply because it’s not normatively acceptable.
You can compare it to kicking your opponent in the head by making a frontflip in boxing. Sure it may require a lot of skill to pull of, but it’s just not right and by the rules of the game.

They’ve done it on me before. I was calm, heck I wasn’t even using a mic, they went up one kill and hid. They hid for 8 minutes.
Please, if you want to find them check their videos. Its exactly like the complainers of armour lock pre TU, if you wanted to kill them use it as well. It was the best way to do so.
