Stream on Monday or Tuesday I believe… release shortly after…
It says the date is 2/21/16 on my phone. The last day of February is 2/29/16. So not the end of the month yet.
its not the end of February, and all the other content releases have been done around the 23-26th of their months

It’s like saying a TV show is on Tuesday nights at 11pm. It’s still Tuesday no matter how late it is, and its always like that.

True you get to watch that TV show then and there. But when somebody tells me a period of time that large like a month, or a week, I expect the event to happen no more than midway through that time period. I feel like they should be more honest with it, hell, hold it a week and call it the March update, then all of March they are working on the April update. Not work on the update through the delivery period and then release at the far end of it, it just feels dishonest IMO. Its not hard to make solid estimates and be up front, if theres a delay then admit it.
Did you notice that they moved up the livestream? I suspect it was because they originally set it for the Friday and release the update the weekend or Monday/Tuesday and that would really be close to the end of the month.

343 doesn’t give realease dates, just ETA’s. and since for the past 2 months. the 25th-26th have been when the updates have dropped, one can use their brain, to come up with when this update will drop. the livestream is on tuesday
You do know that there’s 29 days in the month, right?

When I hear “X is happening sometime in March” I’d assume by the end of the Month, that way I’m not disappointed if it is, and pleasantly surprised if it isn’t. It’s not at all dishonest for them to call it a “February Update” if it comes out in February, no matter how late in the month it is. You’re only annoyed because of your own chosen perception of meaning at this point.
While I’d love to see a set in stone date weeks ahead, they’ve been consistent so far, so it doesn’t really matter. The updates are monthly, each roughly 30 days apart, and since the game came out at the end of the month, naturally each and every monthly update would come out at the end of the month. I could almost agree with the idea that “they might as well just call this the March update because it’s not really here in time for February” but at that point we’re just arguing about naming conventions and it really doesn’t matter because it’s still once a month. Let alone that, to my knowledge, I’ve never seen 343 refer to the updates by the month they’re released, only by their titles (Battle of Shadow and Light, Cartographers Gift, etc…). And if they have and I’ve missed it (completely possible!) it makes no difference, because again, then we’re just getting upset over a naming convention. Why care if it’s consistent?

hahaha. people like him, are the people who say, i only played the “Feb” update, one day in Feb, so it didn’t come out in February because it’s basically march… they believe whatever they want. but the fact is, if it comes out February 29th. that is still February .
The update will come on Friday 26th, just be patient and hopefully it’ll be worth it!
What a nonsensical complaint. Why does it matter if the February update releases at the end of the month? You still have an update to play every month. You’ve had the January Update to play all through February.

He just wants to complain. We’ll get the update next week, like every update nearly at the end of the month with the exception of Cartographer’s Gift because of Christmas. I don’t understand how you can call the 21st end of the month either.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you “The Internet” in all its pedantic glory.
The update will be in february, no need to rush it, it’ll just be more content to complain about. Soon torque will be the worst arena map like riptide is now, as so was overgrowth. the req’s will disappoint you and blah blah. i personally have nothing to complain about. THe new updates keeps the game fresh. Many of you wish all the updates would of been there from the start. The way things have been since release, allowed us to play playlists we probably wouldn’t have played, had we had a ton to choose from. that would of meant even less people playing certain playlists and the onyx players having a hard time find games with a more diminished population.
