two weeks right? im counting right there? whatever.
anyway.
its been two weeks, and i still cannot access fileshare.
first day, forgivable. first week is even understandable. but seriously two weeks?
i want to browse through the screenshots, maps, game types, and lag filled videos. why is it that i cant do that? what is the issue here?
I’m patiently waiting for the file browser to work. I think we should all be a little patient. 343 probably doesn’t even want to browser up until decent content is out. Everything now would essentially be rushed maps and screenshots showing off visors and armor.
I agree. Its almost like they added the feature, but forgot how to get it working. I’ve been eager to see some of the maps people are making.

I don’t care if they don’t want it up. I paid for the game, I should be able to use all it’s features.
i agree patience is important. but this is out of everything ive seen people complain about, my only complaint about the game.
i dont really care when it goes up, i hope sooner than later though. i just want to know what the actual issue is thats keeping the file browser from going up.

No. This is backwards. The Fileshare working properly, along with recognition being handed out regularly, is WHY great content was made in other Halo games.
People only tried so hard and got so good at Forge in Halo 3 and Halo:Reach because there was actually a special sort of recognition that they’d earn once Bungie started putting their stuff into the weekly picks. You wanted to be good because Bungie and the Community could see AND they liked it.
Not only that, but it was remarkably simple to pass around great content because of the fileshare and website. This encouraged people to make more and better maps and content.
What you have now is NO Fileshare. NO recognition. Thus, no real content. Who cares about it, right? Even if you DO make something good how in the hell would you get it out to everyone? There is no point in putting SERIOUS effort into something thankless and hard to get out. No one wants to put hours of work and then playtest a map that only a hundred or so might ever see, if they are lucky.
The great content comes AFTER it becomes possible and simple to get your content seen.
The butthurt is strong in this thread.
Have patience you must.

What? He’s right. I’ll admit it, I’m butthurt. You’ve got to concentrate…feel the butthurt flow. Yes. Good. Calm, yes. Through the butthurt, maps you will see. Amazing places. The screenshots…the gametypes. Old remakes forged anew.

good, good, let the butthurt flow through you.
so yeah. maybe im a little butt hurt too. but if one of the most valuable tools in terms of your replayability wasnt implimented properly im sure you would be too.
and like i said. apart from this one thing i have no other complaints.
