So most of you will know how to tell if games are on dedicated servers or not pre-patch in the pre-game lobby. Anyway, have had a lot of games that have ended and went black screen, generally seeming to coincide with people quitting, which was common on p2p. Anyway I’m pretty confident that 343 just changed it so game session leader is always you so you can’t tell if it is p2p or dedicated, which wouldn’t be surprising since before it was clear that most games were p2p.
Thanks 343, always great to see you being deceitful towards the community.

I have checked before every single game using the prepatch way of checking if it is on a dedicated server. Every single game using that method has said that it is, however I have had numerous games end by going black screen part way through the game when we are smashing the other team. This shouldn’t happen on dedicated servers and as a result it is pretty clear that 343 took time to get rid of the way to tell if the game is on a dedicated server or if it is p2p (and if so who is host). It is just typical 343, taking away this method and making it look like all games are on dedicated servers, when in reality most are still probably p2p.
