So it has come the period...

There are no “haters” anymore? i came back to these forums expecting lots and lots of rage, instead i found people discussing in peace; Not a complain of course.

But, it has finally come the period when the fans accep the game until it gets released and the rage starts again?

Yeah basically.

Or until we get more info.

There was a nuke that went off somewhere after specializations were detailed but it went away pretty fast. Guess people figured it could balance well.

Just give it some time…

They’ve worn out every bit of info they can by now, except for the armor. Just wait until we get a smidge of new info, and the rage will be alive once again.

New info is like gasoline. Apply to the raging fire that is the internet, and watch it explode.

Just wait. Someone’ll make a “4sk BR!” or “Jetpack too OP!” thread, remind people they “need” to rage, and we’ll have a hate-storm.

Heck, someone’ll see that I brought it up and it’ll be all my fault :stuck_out_tongue:

I still remember the Game informer Leak. Oh, the agony!

The fact that the Halo community is so incredibly extreme and angry in their complaints really hurts the chances of the feedback actually mattering.

If you’re 343i, you’d have to learn to tune a lot of it out in order to focus on what you’re doing. If people could be more balanced and calm when talking about the game, the devs might listen to the community more in the future.

As soon as Halo 4’s released, this place is going to be a cesspit of rage instead of a forum to actually discuss what works and what doesn’t. It happens every release, and in about a year’s time the “Reach was better than Halo 4!” camp is going to get up to full speed. It seems silly now, because right now the wind is blowing in the other direction, but it’ll change. It always has.

It’s happened with Halo 2, with Halo 3, and with Reach. It’s so predictable they’d be stupid not to ignore all the hate, which is a shame, because it means to be heard by 343i normal people have to scream louder and louder to make it through the bullcrap filter. I just wish people could talk about this franchise without turning into screaming babies - we forget how damn lucky we are to have these games in the first place.

Haters are like the flood, the only way to stop them is to cut out their food source (food source being information).

What? When?
I see haters all over the place.

Once Halo 4 is out I won’t have a reason to frequent the forums until Halo 5 is announced or Halo 2 Anniversary (Fingers crossed, dat campaign.)

Just wait for new info, then the rage will return.

I’m so sick of the term “haters.”

People who have genuine concerns and opinions about Halo 4 that consist of more then “YEAH LETS BACK UP EVERY DESCISION 343 MAKES!!!111 WE <3 U 343!!!11” are NOT haters.

If you noticed i used “” too, making clear i don’t agree with the term.

Perhaps not clear enough.

Yeah, but I’m just saying.

Seems like the community flips out when they see even the most tiny speck of uncertainty or worry. Keep hyping it up like that and it leads to overhype, which then leads to the game not living up to your expectations regardless of how good it is.

I’ve seen it on countless games/forums before, and this one seems to be falling into the same trap.

I don’t understand why that needs a post.

Do you want people to keep raging?

Times of Peace are among us…

But just like The Dark Knight Rises and Dragonball Z after the Cell saga…

Peace makes everyone soft, and comfortable. We stop working out (Metaphorically), we lose sight of whats important, and we let our guards down and open up to one another! Which is Great… But It’s the point were the community is most vulnerable and fragile… And Peace attracts Trolls, and Trolls Attack when there is an opening… And during times of Peace and happiness, There’s a HUGE Opening… So don’t let your guard down, keep on the look out, and Keep working out…

"Let loose of what you can’t control, then Serenity will be yours."

"The quieter you become the more you can hear. "

And Remember (Secret Trolls hiding among us reading our posts and watching our every moves, waiting for the perfect moment to strike) We are on to you. And our advice is…

"Don’t agonize. Organize."

Namaste my Friends

That only happens when you’re easy to impress, the most of the people who do that are new to videogames or play only Halo, either way one should only let them hype themselves until they have standards without falling in the same mistake.

The only thing they can complain about is armor.
