I signed on to play H5 Arena Slayer. First game sucked and I was lagging like crazy. I was the bullet magnet and kept losing my duels, even though I started shooting first (from my perspective during gameplay). Second game was ‘Mercy’ and two teammates quit out, leaving me with one teammate left against 4 enemies. Needless to say, we lost. Next game was on ‘Mercy’ again, and this time all my teammates quit out within the first few minutes, and one on their team quit, leaving me alone to face off against 3. I stuck it out and I won the match by 3 points. I know I can play with the best of them (or I never would have gotten to Diamond 2 before the last reset). I just don’t understand why I can’t get consistent gameplay with 343’s servers. I also hate this yo-yoing with the ranks. I was all the way up to Platinum 4 this time before lag hit and I went back down to Gold 6. I’m now back up to Platinum 1, but it’s been an infuriating grind to get back up to it.
Also, I noticed that I haven’t played a single match on ‘Pegasus’ in over 3 weeks. Did this map get taken out of rotation? I wish they would bring back map options so we can choose. I once played 4 matches in a row on the same map.
